Faced with a pivotal interview for a life-changing sales position more than a decade ago, WinTheView Founder Ken Diamond leaned upon his sales expertise to close the deal.

He had just completed solutions sales training with Agfa Corporation, a provider of digital technologies for the graphic arts world. Their program hinged on a highly consultative process focused on prospect needs. Trainees recorded their sales presentations on video and were coached to refine their messaging through extensive review and critique.

Shortly after the training, Ken was called into a follow-up interview for a high-level sales and business development opportunity. His task was to “wow” the Vice President of Sales and get the job. That’s when it hit him: Why not follow the solutions-style sales process he had just learned about and build a presentation focused on why the VP should hire him?

Ken came to the interview confident and prepared and got the go-ahead to share a presentation summarizing his qualifications for the role. He took charge and turned the interview into a productive, two-way conversation focused on how he could help the VP achieve his goals. By the end of the conversation, he had the job.

Thus, the seed for WinTheView was planted. It would take root and grow years later when Ken started his executive search firm and began using the same approach to help his candidates prepare for interviews. Since then, thousands of job candidates, career consultants, outplacement firms, staffing, and recruiting firms, and hiring companies have leveraged WinTheView’s online suite of career management tools to improve hiring outcomes.

Ken Diamond – Founder and CEO

As the trailblazer behind WinTheView’s powerful suite of online career advancement tools, Founder & President Ken Diamond has developed a winning formula for job-search success that has helped thousands of candidates land interviews and life-changing job offers.

It all started with Digital Action, Inc., an award-winning executive search firm Ken launched in 1995 to recruit top talent for corporate clients in print and digital communications, technology, pharmaceuticals, and medical imaging. Leveraging a high-performance career in high-tech sales and management for industry-leading companies in digital graphics and digital printing, Ken has spearheaded the firm’s recruitment success for more than two decades, achieving double-digit growth and earning recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Philadelphia area by the Wharton Small Business Development Center.

Through his work with Digital Action, Ken discovered that going above and beyond to prepare candidates for interviews significantly improved his placement rate. By coaching candidates to create their own robust and visually compelling interview presentations, career success stories, online portfolios – and other materials to support their candidacy for relevant job opportunities – he helped them exude confidence, demonstrate motivation, and articulate their potential for achievement to prospective employers. It also provided them with highly persuasive leave-behind materials for hiring teams to consider in making their final decisions. Thus WinTheView was born.

Today, Ken continues to add value to WinTheView’s offerings, staying abreast of the latest technologies and exploring new markets and applications to add value for job candidates, corporate clients, career coaching consultants, recruiters, and other partners.

Joan Phillips – Partner Success Manager

Joan comes to WinTheView with a diverse background in sales and support with a focus on hardware/software technology and best practices, including employee development and training.

During her long, successful career in the print and publishing industry, she contributed her considerable skills to both large and small companies – including Kodak, Agfa, Newspaper Association of America, and Xitron. Currently a small business owner, Joan helps consumers transition to a more sustainable lifestyle through the use and reuse of everyday products.

Joan is an avid kayaker and paddleboarding enthusiast who loves photography. When she’s not working with clients or paddling out on the water, you’ll probably find her on the beach, walking her dogs.

Janine Simmons – Partner Success Manager

A creative thinker with 35 years of experience in digital imaging technology, Janine Simmons has served in diverse roles in technical sales, management, and marketing at leading software development companies; Canon USA, Agfa Graphics, and Scitex. Her expertise spans business development, designing go-to-market strategies, and a keen ability to uncover customer needs and help them meet their business objectives.

Inspired by unconventional ideas, independent thinking, and collaborative energy, Janine summarizes her personal philosophy with two quotes; “When you’re finished changing, you’re finished.” -Benjamin Franklin and “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.” – Greek philosopher, Epictetus.

Kathi Fuller – Content / Best Practices Advisor

At her core, Kathi is a writer with endless curiosity, deep insight into what makes people tick, and a passion for helping them tell their stories. Bringing 20+ years of varied, multi-industry marketing and communications experience to her work as a career management entrepreneur, Kathi launched her business, LinkedIn Lifesaver, in 2015.

As a Nationally Certified Resume Writer (NCRW), LinkedIn profile expert, coach, and personal branding strategist, Kathi creates cutting-edge resumes, bios, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and other career marketing documents for executives, entrepreneurs, and other professionals, enabling them to build their brand, effectively network and engage their target audiences, expand sales and entrepreneurial opportunities, and advance their careers. She is also an active member of the National Resume Writers’ Association and currently serves as President of the NRWA Board.

Working closely with Founder & President Ken Diamond, Kathi writes and edits content for the WinTheView user interface and advises on best practices, marketing strategies, and other aspects of building and promoting WTV’s online career management tools.

Tim Cousounis – Partner Success Manager

Tim has more than thirty years of experience as a health care executive and executive search consultant, during which time he has successfully led projects in management development and candidate development that have advanced the careers of hundreds of individuals. His first-hand experience and knowledge of the power of WintheView to elevate a professional career is of value to clients wishing to optimize their use of WintheView’s digital career portfolio tools.

In addition to being a certified healthcare executive and holding Diplomate status in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Tim has received a Masters’ degree in Healthcare Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelors’ degree in Management from Temple University in Philadelphia.
